We stopped in to look around at the Ashton, Idaho, store and met a salesman named Cordell Barnard. He was very helpful and answered all our questions. We decided a few days later to purchase a new Polaris Ranger and called Cordell to tell him we were coming in and to get our deal ready. The purchase process was quick and easy and Cordell was great to work with. After getting our Ranger to Island Park in time for Memorial Weekend, we went exploring. On Friday evening we went for a drive and after about 50 miles the check engine light came on. Again, it was after 6:00 p.m. on Friday of Memorial Weekend! I called Cordell to see if I might have done something to cause the light to come on or if he knew what to do to fix it and run it safely. I asked Cordell if he had a minute to talk and he said , "sure, I'm just getting ready to go on a dad/daughter date". He gave me a few things to try and said that if I couldn't get it fixed he would load up his family and drive up to help us. I didn't want him to have to do that and ruin his date with his daughter but he insisted it would be fine. Luckily, what he had me do worked and he didn't have to come up. I'm writing to let you know that not only was he a great salesman and made our buying experience fun and easy, he was willing to put his family time on hold to help out a customer on a holiday weekend without hesitation. Cordell is very professional and cares way beyond the sale. I was pleasantly surprised he was willing to go above and beyond. Thanks again, Cordell, and Spike Powersports for a great experience. I bought a used Polaris UTV then had a snow plow installed. Winter snow came late so I had the unit several months before I used it. When plowing snow it didnt seem to have reverse while in 4x4, over about two months I kept trying but soon realized.....no 4x4 reverse, only 2 wheel drive. After getting stuck several times I called Spike talked to Kelly and explained. I said that the unit was sold to me as fully functional but wasnt, that even though I had it several months I had only used it 4 times, Kelly said to bring it in. After a short period of time he called telling me the whole front ring and pinion was needing to be rebuilt... I was not a happy camper. Spike completely rebuilt the front end and did it as a warranty job, so $1,000.00 Later I get the unit back at no charge, this is service that a person only sees once in a blue moon, truly a professional group with high integrity, if I was looking to buy used OR new before buying in Idaho falls or elsewhere I would make the drive a deal with the honest people here. This is true no BS, happened Feb. 2021!Jim B
